Matthäus Passion with NPhU directed by Johannes Leertouwer (Utrecht)

Matthäus Passion in cooperation with the Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht, directed by Johannes Leertouwer. A part of the Roden Girl Choristers will participate in this great event.

In 2024 the NPhU will perform again its highly appreciated interpretation of the Matthäus-Passion, led by conductor and violinist Johannes Leertouwer. In the last years its performances of the Matthäus Passion were very well received and got excellent reviews. The setup is special, with a more intimate setting and with musicians taking the lead on different moments, without a central conductor.

The Choristers will join the NPhU on its tour through the country from the 22nd until the 30th of March, visiting among other places Groningen, Amsterdam and Utrecht. More information about these concerts can be found here.
