Christmas Eve in Concertgebouw

For this year’s Christmas Eve our Choristers have been asked to participate in the yearly service in The Concertgebouw (Main Hall), which has been organized there for more than 50 years. Under the baton of Benjamin Bakker and with the cooperation of a wide range of musicians (among which also Sietze de Vries), beautiful Christmas carols are heard, from familiar to surprising, from classic to new, and the Christmas story will be told. “Music brings you to the heart of the Christmas story, calming and jubilant.”

Our contribution will consist of a selection of Carols which we will also be singing at our Christmas concerts, such as Silent Night, Once in royal, Oh Come all ye faithfull and What sweeter music.
