Eucharist in York Minster

We have been looking forward to this moment all year: singing in the magnificent York Minster! In a series of three days, the Roden Girl Choristers will show what they are capable of, and they themselves will experience the rhythm of an Anglican choir.

This Sunday morning will start with a Eucharist; followed by the last Evensong of the Roden Girl Choristers in York Minster.

Besides several hymns the Choristers will sing Benjamin Britten’s Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei. Kenneth Leighton’s O Sacrum Convivium will be a beautiful start of your Sunday.

Sietze de Vries will accompany the Choristers on the organs; Sonja de Vries will lead the choir.
